30 Sept 2017 was the 1st year anniversary of my final targeted chemo therapy for breast cancer. Before I was diagnosed with cancer I occasionally had headaches & pain in my neck, which sometimes lead to migraines. After chemo, this became a daily challenge. I could not get quality sleep. I would have to get up several times in the night in order to find a comfortable position for my head and neck. Every day, I wake up feeling very heavy headed (often headaches), and needing to do neck exercises. I would often also have to crack my neck to achieve some sort of comfort. This would continue throughout the day as well. Because of this, I went to a chiropractor & physiotherapist on a weekly basis to bring some comfort.
On Oct 1, 2017, when Ps Alan Woodroffe shared about a woman’s neck being healed during Sunday Service, my husband nudged me and told me that I should ask God for healing for my head & neck issues, so I raised my hands when the appeal for healing was made. However, I did not feel anything.
Instead I went to the altar area, as an altar worker, to pray for those seeking healing. As soon as I laid hands on a lady and asked the Holy Spirit to come, fill, and heal, an overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit touched me. I was crying and wailing, in between laughing and calling on the Name of Jesus. I also felt an extremely hot sensation all around my neck.
After this encounter, my neck felt slightly different and the rest of the day my neck and head felt very good – better than it has been for a long time. I slept well through the night.
Just to be certain, I gave myself 1 week to see how things go. My neck & head issues are totally gone!! Praise God for His healing! All glory to Him!
