In 2014 I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid). My blood test reading was way below normal for 3 years. This condition attacks the immune and nervous system. I suffered from extreme fatigue, brain fog, eye discomfort, bleeding gums, muscle pain, insomnia etc. Restful and uninterrupted sleep was unheard of. At most it was 4 hours or less. Praise God for His progressive healing. Since May 2017, my thyroid was back to normal and medication was no longer required. Although getting restful sleep is still a challenge, I believe God’s healing will be complete in due time.
Apart from the healing, I want to thank God for his cleansing work and re-assurance of His love for me.
In Oct 2017, I experienced a supernatural encounter with God. As I was washing my hands, they felt soapy and slippery. It was baffling as I had not used any soap or moisturiser! Maybe something was wrong with the water or piping system. I went to another basin to verify. Still my hands felt as if it was lathered with soap. Reflecting later, one of my constant prayers was asking God to give me clean hands and a pure heart. I believe God was reminding me of His cleansing work in my life through this supernatural encounter!
God was not finished with me yet. At prayer meeting the same night, in the midst of worship, while singing “Your Love is Supernatural”, I smelled fragrance in the air. Not the smell of perfume, but of a freshly cleaned bathroom! I immediately connected it to the supernatural cleansing of hands I encountered early on. God was reassuring me of His Fatherly love. I felt refreshed; my spirit was strengthened and my burdens were lifted.
I believe God is supernaturally working in our midst through the Maldonado seminar, the healing rallies and Sunday meetings in the past months. As we diligently seek Him, God will indeed reveal Himself, in His own time and beyond what our mind can comprehend. I would like to encourage everyone with this verse which Apostle Maldonado shared.
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him” – John 14:21
