In Sept 2015, I started having problems with my shoulders and neck. I couldn’t turn or tilt my head beyond certain angles without pulling, radiating pain. The fingers on my left hand were swollen and slightly bent. I couldn’t straighten my fingers or even hold a plate of food.
X-ray showed that my neck discs were compressed and had degenerated, but the doctor couldn’t determine why my fingers were swollen. After 3 months of physiotherapy, my hand was back to normal.
A year later, my neck condition worsened and my entire right arm frequently had uncomfortable tingling sensation (pins and needles) and numbness. I had to sleep with my arm raised at night. By morning, my neck and shoulders would be so tight that it was a struggle to get out of bed until I exercised them.
My left fingers started swelling again. It was distressing; I prayed hard for healing. Thank God my hand recovered after 1.5 months.
In June 2017, Rev Maldonado challenged us to pray for supernatural healing at a seminar and rally. I determined to wake up extra early for prayer; and to focus on God instead of letting the required exercises rob me of quality time with Him. Praise the Lord my condition improved and my right arm stopped tingling a week later.
In October 2017, Ps Alan Woodroffe invited those who felt God’s touch to the altar. He said God would heal neck conditions. Ps Alan asked me to claim healing and prayed for my neck. I felt God’s anointing and warmth on my neck.
Since then I have not experienced pain in my neck and shoulder. Although there is occasional stiffness, I believe God will complete the healing already begun.
I am grateful as our God is powerful, willing and able to heal what doctors say is irreversible.
