Feeding Program
God revealed Himself through Christ so that the world, especially the people of God, will not only have the reality of Himself on their mind but specially to experience God with their own eyes, even in their own lives.
The church as the chosen people in this new generation and as the body of Christ has the responsibility of continuously revealing the incarnated Christ.
The life and work of Jesus must be shared to the community where the church stands. It means that the church, like Jesus, does not only preach but meet the basic needs of every man. Jesus, healed, cast out demons and even fed those who are hungry. Christ reminded the New Testament Church, that even though our primary purpose is to save man’s soul, we must be also concerned to the social needs of man.
Our church in Manila (FGT Las Pinas) is fulfilling the reality that the incarnated Christ must be continuously revealed and shared not only in sharing the Gospel of Salvation, but also in meeting the social needs of man. The Feeding program that was introduced and inspired by our main church (FGT, Malaysia) is now truly a great ministry. As of now we’re on our six months of feeding 70 children. As a fruit we have now a teens fellowship and choir and a Bible Study for the parents. Most of all, they felt the love and care of God, that God did not abandon them in their situation.
Praise God that there is a church that they can call home in times of crisis and share the true meaning of life through Christ.
