There is never a more important time to pray than today!
In prayer, we come to Him with our burdens and cast our cares on Him. And He takes our burdens and gives us comfort and peace.
In prayer, He reveals His character to us and we learn to trust Him more and more. In His presence, we are changed more and more into His likeness.
In prayer, God reveals His will to us and gives us the courage to obey.
In prayer, we are emboldened to exercise His authority to do the seemingly impossible. We do battle with the enemy in prayer because prayer is spiritual warfare.
Prayer is the necessary tool to spiritual awakening. So as we discern and as we gain wisdom and spiritual understanding on how doors of evil and pain were opened into the lives of our families, our communities, our nation, we can pray with confidence and authority for these doors to close and for the windows of heaven to open so that the darkness of the evil one will be dispelled and for the windows of heaven to open so that the light of the Spirit of God will shine to bring healing and restoration.
We can cry out to God concerning the injustice, the unrighteousness, the pain inflicted by evil authorities and self serving men who exploit the innocent and downtrodden. We can weep before God to avenge the blood of the martyrs.
In prayer, we heal the past and shape the future.
Friends, the word of God assures us that the earnest, fervent prayers of God’s righteous people have great power and results. God values prayers. They are like incense to Him.
So pray with all of your heart and soul. He hears us and He will answer!
