In Sept 2020, Eunice had a lymph node swelling that was increasing in size at the base of her neck. She went for a minor surgery to remove it for further testing. A week later, the results came back and she was diagnosed to have tuberculosis (TB) of the lymph node. She had to be on anti-TB drugs for 7 months. These drugs can potentially be toxic to the liver, kidney, eyesight and nerves. Praise God, none of her organs were affected by the drugs.

My family were all screened for TB. My screening test came back positive and subsequent tests confirmed that I have latent (inactive) TB. I was also put on anti-TB medication for 3 months. Thankfully, I did not suffer any adverse side effects as well. We also praise God that all of our 3 kids and our parents were cleared of TB. 4 months have passed and Eunice’s wound on her neck has healed completely and she is back to work. We praise God for His strength in taking us through this season and for His healing hands. All glory to Him!
