Why are we doing this?
After 14 years of School of the Bible (SOTB), we have decided to come up with something for those who have always asked for more. Due to time constraints, we have never been able to further explore some of our SOTB topics.
Hence, we have come up with the Learning Management System (LMS), designed for those who want a more in-depth study on our SOTB sessions.
What is LMS?
The LMS works to assist each individual in monitoring their study of the course. SOTB sessions will, of course, continue as usual. However, there will now be additional online videos for further study after the first SOTB.
How are we doing it?
We have an online site which is accessible to those who enroll for the LMS. On this site, we will be posting teaching videos that explore the subject or topic in a deeper manner.
The way that it works is like this:
1st week – Normal SOTB session, also known as the general session, carried out onsite at church or online. The LMS will be made accessible after the first general session. The LMS students will be notified by email the required reading assignment to be covered in the coming week.
2nd and 3rd week – Weekly videos will be posted on the LMS. Students are required to first complete a reading review regarding their previously given reading assignment.
4th and Final week – Reading review to be first completed, followed by the video lesson. A final assessment or check-up will be provided after the video lesson. All reading reviews and final review test scores will be recorded on the LMS, to allow each student to track their progress.
All online videos (including the general session from the 1st week) and materials (including PDF notes of all sessions) will be made available to students for the whole year of enrollment. This means that students will be able to go back to previous completed lessons to review them.
What levels are available?
Level 1: aged 13-17 and young believers
Level 2: adults (aged 18 and up).

Upon signing up, access to the LMS will be available until the end of the year.
